Counting our Blessings

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed a few days off of distance learning! As a staff, when we were praying about our theme for this year, God clearly led us to “Attitude of Gratitude”. We find it so comforting that God already knew all the events of this school year. Even though this distance learning and all these closures may be a surprise to us… it did not surprise Him! During this time He has given us SO many things to be grateful for like more time with family, slowing of our schedules and spending deeper time with Jesus. As educators we are especially grateful for our amazing students (who have been taking GREAT pictures to post, going on “parades” for teachers’ birthdays, and working hard on their lessons), fabulous parents (who have partnered with us in a major way) and our amazing teachers (who had worked hard to prepare lessons and packets so our students continue to build their education and are ready for next school year). Remember y’all…. it could be worse 🙂
