“Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.” – Psalm 113:2-3

This is my 31st year of teaching Kindergarten! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1989 with a B.S. in Education Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading.

I met my husband, Daren, at A&M and we have been married for 29 years. Daren is a mechanical engineer for Trane. We have 3 beautiful children- Our daughter, Kara, graduated from Texas A&M and is an ICU nurse at Seton Hospital in Kyle, TX. Our daughter, Hannah, graduated from Texas State University and is a Benefits Administrator for Qualfon in Ft. Collins, CO. Our son, Dane, is a sophomore at Texas A&M, pursuing a degree in health/kinesiology.

I am a member of First Baptist Woodway and sing in the choir!

I love spending time with family and friends, reading, eating Mexican food, cheering on my Aggies, and going to the beach!

I feel very thankful and blessed to be a part of WCS!
