• The thief comes to steal and destroy; but I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.
    John 10:10

I love serving at Woodway Christian School where I can share my joy of the Lord with the students.

When First Baptist Church Woodway began this ministry twenty five years ago, I taught a preschool class as well as being the director. I prepared for this position by getting my bachelors of science from Texas Tech. I have watched God’s hand guiding us from a preschool of 36 students to a school of over 250 students that we are now teaching through the eighth grade. Along the way I received my Master of Science in Education from Baylor and learned so much more about technology and people. God continually shows me I am blessed to work where we are able to partner with Him and our parents with the education of our students and work where everything is covered in prayer.

I am married to a wonderful man (Gerald) that helped me raise three beautiful daughters. They are all married and have given us ten fabulous grandchildren. Seven of them will be attending WCS this year. We also have a cocker spaniel.

Besides attending many of the school’s extra-curricular activities I enjoy spending time with family and friends at the lake.
