“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Hello! My name is Brooke Sanders, and I currently coach the cheerleaders at WCS!

I graduated from Baylor as a University Scholar and then stayed at Baylor to earn a Master of Science in Education. Before having children, I served as a professional academic advisor, career counselor, and leadership advisor for college students at two universities. For the past three years, I have developed and taught weekly academic enrichment courses and summer enrichment camps including art, architecture, history, business, and science. My experience also includes eight years of design and distribution of educational curriculum. For the past fifteen years I have served as a judge for local and regional science fairs, history fairs, cheer/dance auditions, and college competitions. Additionally, I provide consultation including assessments to high school students who are preparing for college and need assistance selecting a major. I am passionate about education and maximizing the individual strengths and potential of each student!

Some highlights of my own childhood include summers abroad, dance recitals, the school book fair, church mission trips, and attending Broadway musicals. Currently, traveling with my family is my favorite pastime. Despite serving as a cheer coach and as an officer for my sorority’s alumnae chapter, I am an introvert. In conclusion, color-coded schedules and coffee are my primary love languages.
