“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”
Jeremiah 3:33

Hi! My name is Katie Messerall and I am so excited for my fourth year teaching at WCS! I have the pleasure of teaching middle school history and being the Assistant Principal. I graduated from Baylor University in 2005 with my undergraduate in History and stayed and earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology in 2006. After college, I moved to Houston and married my college sweetheart, Cody. I taught at a high school for 2 years and then went on to be a counselor at a high school in the Klein school district for 6 years. Then God called me to worked at our church and I was there full time for a year and a half. While working with the church, I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade and in then became the kids ministry director for kids ages 6 weeks to 5th grade at our second location in The Woodlands. It has been an honor to teach kids about how much they are loved and valued by God!

Besides being a teacher, counselor and in ministry, my husband and I have been blessed with two wonderful kids! Our son, Hayden is 7 and he will be attending 2nd at WCS this year. Our daughter, Ellie is 5 and she is a spunky little redhead. She will be in kindergarten at WCS. Cody and I are so thankful we get to parent these kids and love watching them grow in the Lord.

I can not wait to see all God has for WCS this year. He has big things planned!
