I was born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma Christian College. In fact, I told my husband that I would move anywhere with him except Texas! After 27 years in Texas, I embrace ‘dual citizenship’, and am proud to be a transplant Texan. My husband, Jack, worked as a youth minister for over 30 years, so middle-schoolers hold a special place in my heart. We have 4 children- Aubrie and Forrest are full fledged adults, Abigail is working and pursuing a degree in computer science, and Levi is a sophomore at Oklahoma Christian University. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, PLUS a leopard gecko named Dart, a bearded dragon named Mushu, and a degu named Oreo (our beloved science class pets). When I can find the time, I enjoy gardening, movies, walking dogs, and reading.
