Where Creativity Takes Center Stage
Engaging in fine arts at WCS goes beyond artistic skills; it offers students important non-academic benefits. Participating in the arts boosts self-esteem, motivation, creativity, and emotional expression. It also fosters cultural awareness, social harmony, and an appreciation for diversity. Data from the College Board emphasizes the academic advantage, revealing that students who dedicate four years to arts and music classes in high school score about 100 points higher on their SATs than those with less exposure. While we don’t currently have a high school at WCS, we believe that dedication to and appreciation for the arts starts early. Fine arts help shape well-rounded individuals with skills that extend far beyond the canvas or stage.
